Leaving Job for Practice

This query is : Resolved

07 May 2009 Hi

I completed my CA training just 3 months back & joined a MNC on a handsome package in Chandigarh.

Now I am thinking about leaving the job & starting Practice in Chandigarh.
Can you plz suggest me if its worth to leave job for Practice??

Also People says that Practice will definately run good if I keep patience.
In case Practice does not get successful & again I have to do job, will I be having same worth in market as I am having today?

Regards

07 May 2009 Always think positive and believe in your self.
I am also practicing CA since last two years and i am getting good work with resonable fees. I feel we will be earning more in the long run and at the same time our knowledge will also improve.

Best of Luck for Your Practice.

07 May 2009 You have to choose practice or job depending on your committments and sources for the committements.

In practice you will get good money but the problem is you cannot project the cash inflow. It depends on client to client.

If you have a savings of 3 months committements you can start up your practice. Otherwise save some money and then start your practice.

Otherwise you will face financial trouble to meet your regular obligations.
