Leave licence agreement & service tax issue

24 April 2012 if landlord charges the licence fees & using the same words in the agreement ,is it means that it is including service tax.

suppose if licenor fails to pay service atx ,ultimate is licensee is liable to pay?

24 April 2012 The term licensing arrangement is specifically included in the definition of renting of ...... Therefore you are required to collect service tax and deposit the same. if client is not paying service tax then you have to deposit service by considering amount received as cumtax amount if service tax amount is not receivable from tenant.
