At the time of despatch it should have been mentioned in the remarks coloumn that after processing the new compount will weigh approx. 200Kg.
Now the job-worker is required to use the second copy of your challan, where in the first part you have written 40 kg., so he will fill the quantity as per first part of the challan in the second part and within brackets should mention 200kg of x material equal to 40 kg of y material.
We have mentioned in Jobwork challan that after processing we received 200.00 Kgs but Jobworker & his Excise department saying if you received 40.00 Kgs how can you dispatch 200.00 Kgs. Please guide both for us how they dispatch and what they mentioned on his Challan/Invoice to avoid duty liability.

It depends upon the process of the material. In some materials will loose their weight in process and some materials gain weight. According to input output ratio it depends. The job worker can dispatch the 200 kgs material. If the excise department objects submit the process and input output ratio details.
