21 March 2016 I am Charetered Accountant i wanted to know which of the two alternatives has more growth opportunities wheather working as Assistant Manager in NTPC or Specialist Officer in Bank of India one of the Nationalised Banks? Please answer if possible i am really confused?

Both are the great opportunities.
If you want to shift from govt sector to pvt then NTPC is better.
But if you have the patience and can reatin in banking industry only then
In my opinion Specialist officer scale II has more growth opportunities.
In 5-6 year you would be a cheif manager and after that sky is the limit.
