CHECK MY PROFILE AND READ ABOUT ME

30 March 2011 sir i have read your profile and i am surprised to read it because we have a lot of common story.i too didn't know about ca course until my B COM second year.in 2005,my maternal uncle visited Indore and he asked me about my future plan.when i told nothing about it,he suggested me to do CA course.even the registration form was also sent by my uncle along with a cheque of RS 3000/ for registration.and finally i got registered in 2005 for PE-1.I appeared first time for PE-1 in 2006 and that too in English medium despite being a Hindi medium student and failed.Again i appeared six months later and again failed. After that i got my PE-1 course switched into CPT course and in 2007 i passed CPT.I was happy because i had gone a step ahead.but my happiness perished when i started searching articleship training. After 2 months,i got a articleship training but without stipend.i was helpless because i had no option.since i was from a village and Hindi medium student, my employer never taught me anything worthwhile during my training. He used to send me income tax and sales tax deparment and bank.Somehow i completed 6 months training there and took transfer in the hope of something good. But MR.fate had something else in store for me.My new employer used to run an educational institute and he had nothing about Income Tax.SALES TAX OR AUDIT.I became account assistant there. But i was happy because i was getting 750 RS stipend. After one year my employer told me to take transfer.I was amazed by his decision but again i was helpless.I took transfer again and joined a new company. They had a lot of work and according to them i was useless because i didn't know so much about computer.Although i could have operated ms word ,excel and powerpoint.Somehow i worked there for 8 months.Meanwhile i appered for pcc exam in june 2009 and failed. Again appered in nov 09,may10 and failed. My employer told me to take transfer but i was unable to take transfer because institute had banned it.I was in dilemma what to do and what not to do.Finally i had only one option and that was to get switched in IPCC course. My father is a farmer and he has only 5 acre land, that too without irrigation facility. But somehow he managed 6000 Rs and i got registered in IPCC course and appeared in exam in Nov 2010 and again failed. Now my family member want that i must give up my dream and started working somewhere.that is all.

- **Mental Health Professional:** Consider speaking to a mental health professional. They can offer support and guidance through this tough time.

2. **Focus on Your Well-being:**
- **Self-Care:** Take care of your physical and mental health. Sometimes, focusing on basic self-care can help in managing stress and making clear decisions.
- **Breaks:** Give yourself small breaks to recharge. Overworking yourself can sometimes make things feel even more overwhelming.

### **Regarding Your CA Journey:**

1. **Reevaluate Your Approach:**
- **Identify Weak Areas:** Try to identify where you’ve been struggling and seek specific help in those areas. Sometimes targeted support can make a difference.
- **Study Group:** Join a study group or seek a mentor who can offer guidance and support.

2. **Consider Alternative Pathways:**
- **Other Courses:** If you’re feeling disheartened about CA, remember there are other professional courses and career paths that might align with your interests and strengths. For instance, consider courses like ICMA (Institute of Cost Management Accountants), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or other finance-related certifications that may be more suited to your situation.

3. **Practical Steps for Financial and Career Support:**
- **Part-Time Work:** Look for part-time work or internships that can provide some financial support while you continue studying.
- **Scholarships/Grants:** Explore scholarships or financial aid opportunities available for students in difficult situations.

4. **Set Realistic Goals:**
- **Small Steps:** Break down your goals into smaller, manageable steps. Celebrate small victories and progress along the way.
- **Timeline:** Give yourself a realistic timeline and set small milestones. This can make the journey feel less daunting.

### **General Advice:**

1. **Don’t Lose Hope:**
- **Resilience:** Many people face setbacks and challenges but find a way to move forward. Your persistence and resilience are valuable.
- **Success Stories:** Many successful professionals have faced failures and setbacks before achieving their goals.

2. **Look for Resources:**
- **Free Resources:** There are often free resources available online, such as study materials, practice papers, and forums where you can get advice and support.
- **Library and Community Centers:** Check out local libraries or community centers for additional study materials and support groups.

### **Actionable Steps:**

1. **Immediate Help:**
- Reach out to a counselor or support group immediately for professional help.

2. **Short-Term Plan:**
- Set a short-term plan for managing stress and continuing with small, manageable study goals.

3. **Long-Term Plan:**
- Reassess your career and education goals and explore alternative paths if needed.

### **Remember:**

It’s important to give yourself grace and understand that it’s okay to take a step back to assess your situation. Your well-being is the most important thing right now. With support and a structured plan, you can navigate through this challenging period.

If you're in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to a crisis hotline or seek immediate professional help. Your safety and health are paramount.
