ITR for two years

17 December 2009 Dear Sirs,

Canwe fill two year ITR together . if i want to fill ITR foy PY 2008-09 & PY 2009-10. what is procedure? is there any interest or penality we should pay ?maximum how many years ITR we can fill together

17 December 2009 Yes, you can file maximum 2 years return i.e. for 2008 & 2009 year ending.

Application of ITR is dependant upon types of income.

If no tax is there; no peanlty is there.

If tax is payable on the income earned and TDS has not been deducted to that extent then you have to pay interest.

Filing of return is not so easy; hire the services of one expert.

17 December 2009 Yes you can file max.2 years of IT returns. Its Procedure is not so easy so you have to hire a expert as per mr.Surendra sir.
If your income is above the Limit that given by Govt. then your have to Pay Tax on it along with Interest u/s 234A. on above 2 years if you have to file your IT return then your have to Pay first penalty of Rs.5000/-.
