Itr filing registeration

24 December 2011 I have file ITR of a person who has file his return first time through Online. But during filing of his ITR , i have written wrong email id during his registeration in income tax for PAN.So is there any chances for rectification of same?

24 December 2011 E-mail address once mentioned in the return cannot be rectified.

You can call CPC Bangalore and request them to send a hard copy of the Intimation u/s 143(1) to the postal address mentioned in the return.

24 December 2011 Dear Manoj,
As per your question,If you have a correct password of username then enter it on website then you can find a change password in which you got option of e-mail id,This option enable you to change your e-mail id .But be very Cautious about changing e-mail because once you write it makes many problems to solve it.
