I have paid certain sum for wedding ceremony of my son from my company account . I have confusion whether I can claim input tax credit on the above expenses.

No you are not eligible to avail ITC in this case. Materials which are used or intended to be used in the course or furtherance of his business ,are eligible for ITC.
