03 March 2012 Agree with expert. There is no need to maintain ratio,it will depend on company to which capital they want to increase. In you are increasing paid up capital by issue of equity shares then their is no restriction to issue preference shares also. you are free to issue any kind of shares subject to authorised share capital.
