03 November 2014 Hi,

I issued form 16A 3 days late, what is the penalty.

PDF Converter doesn't allow us to put issue date, it generates automatically current date.

03 November 2014 date of downloading from traces is considered as issued date

Failure to issue TDS certificate u/s 203

272(A)(g)
Rs. 100 every day during which the failure continues subject to maximum of TDS amount.

If date of downloading is considered as issue date, then we should be served with notice immediately from IT department.

Can you please confirm with some facts and notification that download date is recorded and it is taken as issue date..

Please help, this is actually very important question.
