Is ecc(excise control code) compulsory for new regis.????

Does, an Entity having registered in 2014 as First Stage dealer under Central Excise Act and having new PAN based registration no., required to obtain a separate ECC no. for transferring credit as a dealer/importer.

12 November 2014 ECC registration is PAN based. As there is change in your PAN number. You need to consult your range inspector/superintendent.
( Mostly it you should surrender old one and apply for New for registration on basis of new PAN)
