1)your ipcc registration is valid for 4 years irrespective of fact that whether you have attempted or not..after that you need to pay some nominal fee and need to revalidate it
2)no..it is not considered as ca articleship..you need to enroll your self again for articleship programme by form 103 and 102 with icai joining with a ca

Audit clerk: people who have got some graducation and post graduation will also work in ca firm for some practical exposure..they are called Audit clerks..

Only after passing IPCC you are eligible for taking admission in CA. Now, the problem arised in how many chances you can clear your IPCC. tThe expert has correctly said that in 4 years your IPCC registration will expire then you have re-register andaccordingly try your luck. Only after yu clear your IPCC you will be able to take admission in form of articleship with a CA for 3 years and then your practical training will start and no dummy should be taken for your better future. You can relaise that when you are unable to clear IPCC how you will with the help of dummy articleship can clear your CA Final. So remove this concept from your brain and try to clear IPCC by putting all your efforts in this course.
