If you have 55% or more Marks in B.Com then you can take direct admission in IPCC. This way you will not have to give CPT.

Yes you can start your articleship after registering for IPCC and completion ITT and Orientation course.
Then after completing 9 months of Articleship you will be eligible to appear in IPCC.

Yes. After completing B.Com with 55% or more marks take admission in IPCC and complete ITT and Orientation course. Then you are eligible to start Articleship Training.

Where is the confusion?
You can directly join IPCC after completing B.Com with 55& or more marks.
After Joining IPCC you need to do Information Technology Training (ITT) & Orientation Course. After that you can join Articleship. Try to check out links given above for better understanding.

No you can not start Articleship before 3rd year B.Com if you take Direct entry route.
If you take CPT route then you can Start Articleship even before completing B.Com.
Advisable to wait for completion of B.Com and take Direct entry route.

Students who are pursuing the Final year of the Graduation Course shall be eligible for provisional registration to the Intermediate (IPC) Course. Such students would be required to submit satisfactory proof of having passed the Graduation examination with the specified percentage of marks, within six months, from the date of appearance in the final year graduation examination (i.e. from the date of commencement of the Examination). During the period of provisional registration, a student can undergo and complete Information Technology Training (ITT) and Orientation Course. It is clarified that in their case, the practical training shall commence only on become a Graduate with specified percentage of marks. Such students shall be eligible for appearing in the Intermediate (IPC) Examination on completion of nine months of practical training. If such student fail to produce the proof within the aforesaid period his provisional registration shall stand cancelled and the registration and other fees, as the case may be, paid by him shall not be refunded/ adjusted and no credit shall also be given for the theoretical education undergone.
