Sir, I was registered with IPCC in the month of Dec 2009 and also completed my ITT and orientation course in the year 2010. I had also completed my B.Com with 54% marks. Whether my registration is valid? What are the benefit under Direct Entry Scheme for me?

The following categories of students are eligible to register directly for Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course without passing the Common Proficiency Test (CPT):- 1. Graduates or Post Graduates from Commerce stream having secured in aggregate a minimum of 55% of the total marks or its equivalent grade or other Graduates or Post Graduates having secured in aggregate a minimum of 60% of the total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognised University (including Open University). 2. Candidates who have passed the Intermediate level examination or its equivalent examination by whatever name called conducted by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Students, who have registered for the course on or before 31st December, 2009 and completing 4 years validity period till 31st December, 2013 are advised to apply for revalidation before 31st December, 2013 without paying revalidation fee. In case any student fails to apply for revalidation by 31st December, 2013 he/she then shall have to pay the prescribed revalidation fee, as stated above, on or after 1st January, 2014 for revalidating the egistration.
Each Revalidation shall be valid for 4 years.
Fee for revalidation is Rs. 400/- for each revalidation.
Students are required to ensure before applying for admission to Intermediate (IPC) (IPC) Examination that they have valid registration.
Students who have registered in Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course-II)/ Professional Competence Course are required to switchover to Intermediate (IPC) Course in order to continue their studies in chartered accountancy course.

Initial registration to Intermediate course will be valid for 4 years. For students who have converted to IPCC/ IPC scheme from earlier schemes of PE II and PCC , the period of validity will be counted from the dated of conversion to IPCC/ IPC .
Each revalidation will be valid for next 4 years and the fee for revalidation is ₹400/-
Students whose registration has expired (4 years from registration) and has not revalidated their registration would not be allowed to apply for examination.
