Only those students can crack ca exams without coaching who are very good at studies and are very sincere. If you go for self studies than you will need somebody to help you to solve your quarries. Because some topics are that twisted that one can't understand them without anybody's help. So you can go for self study only and only if you have some good and intelligent friends who can help you out whenever needed.
