I uploaded one ITR 4 (Sugam) for the AY 2017-18 on 1st May 2017.
I have not received any intimation, notice etc. The status of the ITR is shown as "Sucessfully E Verified"
Last night I dowloaded the pdf of the entire ITR from the efling site. The entire ITR has a watermark "invalid" on each pages.
Please suggest the reasons and solutions for the case. It would be very helpful.

The issue you are encountering with the watermark "invalid" on the downloaded PDF of your ITR could be due to several reasons. Here's a step-by-step guide to address the situation:
### Possible Reasons for "Invalid" Watermark:
1. **Incomplete E-Filing Process**: The watermark might indicate that the e-filing process is not yet complete. Although the status shows "Successfully E-Verified," there might be additional steps needed to finalize the submission.
2. **Issues with Digital Signature**: If you have opted for e-verification using a digital signature, ensure that it is correctly applied and valid. An invalid or expired digital signature can sometimes lead to such issues.
3. **System Glitch or Error**: There could be a technical issue with the e-filing portal that is causing this watermark to appear.
### Steps to Resolve the Issue:
1. **Check Status**: Verify the status of your ITR by logging into the e-filing portal. Ensure that there are no pending actions or notices related to your return.
2. **Confirm E-Verification**: Ensure that the e-verification process is fully completed. If you used Aadhaar OTP, EVC, or any other method, confirm that it was successful.
3. **Download Again**: Try downloading the ITR PDF again. Sometimes, the issue could be temporary and might resolve upon re-downloading.
4. **Contact Support**: Reach out to the Income Tax e-filing support team for assistance. Provide them with your PAN, the assessment year, and any other relevant details so they can help resolve the issue.
5. **File a Complaint**: If the issue persists and you do not receive a satisfactory response, consider filing a grievance through the e-filing portal or the official Income Tax website.
### Additional Tips:
- **Check for Updates**: Make sure you are using the latest version of the ITR utility if you are accessing it from a local application.
- **Ensure All Documents are Submitted**: Verify that all necessary documents and information were submitted correctly.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue or get guidance on the next steps to take.
