Intimation u/s 143(1) & 1431a

08 January 2015 i checked online tax demand, where i saw demand raised by department u/s 143(1) and 1431a with different amount with same date for the A.Y. 2010-11

Please any tell me the difference between sec 1431 and sec 143(1)a
