I allwage get confused on following 2 point in terms of VAT matter 1) if an organisation sales or purchase goods within State, what is it called?(Interstat or Local) 2) in which purchase(local purchase or inter state) an organisation get Input credit to adjust sale tax(VAT)

No. Intra state means with in the state. Inter state means out side the state.

it meanse if purchase made vide itra state then we will get Tax input (credit ) and throught inter state we will not get any credit, M I right sir?
