Hello, Last year,my friend earned some income in Sweden. We filed income tax return without showing that income because the Swedish Govt.had deducted tax on it. And also, since on his Indian income he was already getting refund,he would have no tax benefit here for the tax paid in Sweden. Now, this month the Swedish Govt.refunded the tax. So I would like your opinion whether to revise last year's return and show the income or include in this year's income. Please guide
What is the residential status of assessee or how many days he was in India in that year in which income was earned if less than 60 days then please specify how many days in a year person was in India in Five year immediately preceeding the year in which income was earned in Sweden

You are saying no tax benefit in India of tax paid in Sweden but we can take the credit of tax paid in India as per Section 91 of Income Tax Act, 1961, and if it is of F.Y 2009-10 only then u can revise upto 31st March, 2012 else you can't.
