03 March 2010 There is no separate Accounting Code for payment of interest. It depends on the service to which it relates.

For each service, 3 codes has been notified. 1. Tax Collection, 2. Interest, penalty and other, 3. Refunds.

Interest is to be paid using the code for interest, penalty and others.
