13 August 2015 Dear Sir and Madam, I have borrowed a loan for the purchase of house property. I have in FY 14-15 as Principal 14 lakhs and Interest of Rs.290000. How can I claim benefit under sec 24 and 80E Thanks

13 August 2015 Interest on home loan can be claimed under section 24. Please provide the information as to whether the property is completed or yet to be completed.

80E is not applicable for housing loan interest.
