if you are occupying both houses, you can show one of them as selfoccupied and other as let out.. you need to pay tax on the muncipal valuation of the house deemed to be let out..
as regards HRA, you can claim only if u r staying in a rented house.. if u stay in own house hra exemption cant be availed
