Dear sir,
For manufacturing company they are not claiming input vat credit on consumables like repairs simply they are charging to expenses .
As an Auditor how can we report on these portion

Input related to repairs i.e. on consumables and spares of capital goods is permitted. It can be claimed in the returns along with other purchases.....mjk

Wherever it is possible they can revise the returns and avail the benifits. For the future necassary guidelines may be given...mjk
