26 October 2012 I want to know that whether the Input of Service Tax by a company is allowed , if it has paid service tax along with the travelling expenses for the business tour of its director ?

28 October 2012 The definition of input Service given under Rule 2(l) of CCR,2004 is not exclusive. The service must be used for business purposes for availment of cenvat credit.In your case, service is used for business only.
