Please share your precious knowledge regarding A.O term related to PAN. And also tell me the Links from where I can enhance my knowledge related to TAXATION ( TDS, SERVICE TAX, PROFF. TAX, ADVANCE TAX.and others.

27 September 2011 pan means permanent account number. It is mandatory for all who are an assessee under income tax act. As per act whenever we have to communicate with the i.t. Department it is necessary to mention on docs.

27 September 2011 further for entering into any high value transaction pan is also necessary, if u want to buy share or debenture etc. for more than rs. Fifty thousand it is also mandatory.
