Industrial training

26 February 2014 I am eligible for Industrial training from 22nd August 2014 on completion of 2 years of articleship. However my principal has refused to allow me to leave until 1st october 2014 due to heavy work pressure in September. Do i need his consent or can I go ahead with interviews assuming to join the new company from August end itself?

26 February 2014 well as such you do need principal's signature for executing Form 109. So if he refuses to sign, there is little that you can do...

26 February 2014 But tax audits is not that I intend to do in future, and therefore wish to go for Industrial Training. Already it is difficult to locate a company for Industrial Training and with late joining, it will only add more troubles.

26 February 2014 yes friend it does add to your problems. but thats how it is. I almost gave a legal notice to my firm to make them sign Form 109!!

26 February 2014 I had also mentioned this during my interview of articleship. And one of the reasons for joining the current firm was that they are permitting me to go for Industrial Training. Is there any other feasible solution?

27 February 2014 well you need to convince your principal. there is no other solution.

27 February 2014 Ok, Thanks a lot, will try convincing him!

27 February 2014 best of luck friend...

27 February 2014 You can get your form signed back dated by your principal and in case you are going for dummy IT the said date will prefix your utility else if you are joining a IB or any other consultancy the only option left with you will be to extend your internship completion by a month but do try to convince your principal and most importantly get your form 109 signed back dated

27 February 2014 Thanks a lot. This is really helpful :D
