dear all, kindly advise on latest updated requirements for minimum authorized capital for incorporating a company with words 'India' included in its name. Whether it is Rs. 100,000/- or Rs. 500,000/-. Please also give the relevant circular/notification no.
As per this Circular No. 27/1/87/CL.III, dated 13-3-1989, the words used as India without bracket () id Rs. 50 lakh but if you are using this word in bracket (India) then minimum Authorised Capital is 5 lakh.

Thank you Mr. Mishra for your guidance. It was really very helpful. However, today I had an interaction with ROC helpline and they told me that the minimum authorised capital required in case of a private limited company is Rs 100000/- and in case of a public limited company it is Rs.500000/-, whether or not any special word is included in the name such as 'India', 'Enterprises', etc.
