Respected sir/madam My father is 75 and his monthly pension was rs23903 from April 2017 to september 2017 and from October 2017 to march 2018 rs 27513..Where is the break up of 27513 is basic 25250 DA rs1263 and FMA 1000 so I wish to know if has to file income tax this year as I believe he goes par 3lac tax exemption bracket plz guide how to calculate his tax..Thanks alot

Yes, you are correct. Since the income during the year is over the amount not chargeable to tax, your father has to file return of income
