K, my colleague has a doubt, , his question is, if we pay tax on behalf of client we need to pay less income tax during the year, or else we need to pay more, can anyone clarify this, i didnt understand how?

facts are not clear
if it is a ca firm and you are paying tax on behalf of client then your tax will not have any effect.
