Detail of Exempt Income: such as follows:

Interest Income
Dividend Income

In ITR-2 Ay 2016-17 " Income from other sources " & " Exempted Income " both have been mentioned Interest Income and Dividend Income and as such I would like to know as under what head I should put the value of interest income and dividend income ?

Or should I understand like this that , " Interest Income and Dividend Income under the head of Income from other sources" is different from " Interest Income and Dividend Income under the head of exempted income " . Though both are common while narrating but the sections as under which these receipts are considered might be different to one another.

11 July 2016 Dividend income can be declared under exempted income or income from other sources under exempted income.

But interest income not mentioned which interest, if it is exempted interest like interest on pdf same can be claimed under exempted income.
