Hi I am a PCC student going to appear for examination in May 09. Can you please suggest me important topics to be studied in accounts and Costing from examination point of view..
There is nothing like important chapter, unimportant chapter in professional exam. You will get questions from any chapter as long as it is in the syllabus. Hence do not be choosy in preparing for exam. You have adequate time to prepare and hence start now itself and you will be in a position to cover all chapters. Focus on theory part and problem part equally, as theory also facilitates scoring good marks.

Regarding the courses you can do... ICWA could be an option but if you feel that the duration is very long You can join a one year Certified Finance Manager Program or DR Prasanna Chandra's Institute.
