Can a company import goods without having IEC certificate, if yes then what are the situations and if no then what are the consequences of doing the same.

THE PERSON WHO WISH TO IMPORT EXPORT FOR THE PURPOSE OF AGRICULTURE / PERSONAL PURPOSE DOES NOT REQUIRE IEC code.

REFER TO PARA 2.8 OF FOREIGN TRADE POLICY 2009-2014
