Import of goods under epcg scheme

25 March 2013 Sir, My is an SSI unit and I am importing second hand weaving looms under 3% FOB Basis EPCG Scheme.
I am applying for the license of the same.
When i applied the export obligation in INR comes to only 3 times of duty saved where as the actual export obligation figure should be 8 times of duty saved.
How can i change the export obligation figure to 8 times??

25 March 2013 you are advised once signout the dgft site .

before close the system update it then after open the efiling correct and then automaticaly change, inspite of any face problem ask again

20 April 2013 Sir,

As I understand from point No. 5.1 (e) of Notification No. 1 dated 18.04.2013, from now onwards EPCG scheme will not be available for second hand capital goods (weaving looms). Is it right?

Further to above, Is there any abatement available in custom duty for second hand automatic shuttleless looms as of now?

22 April 2013 Refer to said notification self explanatory as far as i understand it is notification DGFT .so please any clarification you put up YOUR CLARIFICATION IN appendix appropriate format in dgft,UDYOG BHAWAN DELHI

29 April 2013 Sir, as per Notification no. 1 dt. 18.04.2013 it reads as.. "In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.2 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby notifies the Chapter 5 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014 harmonizing the two versions (Zero Duty and 3% Concessional Duty) of EPCG Schemes. This shall come into force w.e.f. 18th April, 2013."

Now my question is what does harmonizing means?? Does it means the earlier two schemes are scrapped and only 0% scheme is in force or both the scheme remains ie 0% & 3%.

Please guide.
