Greetings !
Our company is dealing in event management on behalf of companies of abroad. We get the brouchers/collateral from abroad, for which we need to pay custom duty. As we don't have IEC Code yet, so we have to pay a huge amount of penalty for the same. Please suggest us, should we apply for IEC Code. If yes, please suggest us the procedure.

apart from the above you have to obtain the certificate from the Foreign Exchange Department of RBI
