01 February 2010 Can central govt employees residing in govt staff quarters receive HRA exemption?
Kindly summarise the tax implications.

01 February 2010 The Govt employee who resides in Govt. quarter do not get HRA. As such, the question of exemption of HRA does not arise.

01 February 2010 In HRA calculation there is no differnce between Govt and Non Govt usual rules only
