Can an employee take benefit of HRA u/s 10(13A) from more than one company in the same financial year.

Yes he can but for the prorated period. If he employees in both the company during the full year then both company calculate HRA exemption as per sec 10(13A), and at the time of return filling assessee needs to do the calculation again for proper tax due.
