29 December 2012 If a employee join a company in part of month then then how HRA Calculated.

- Rent Paid for which Period should be taken
a) Period upto he remain in company? or
b) Whole of year whether he join the company or not.?

29 December 2012 HRA Exemption are calculated month wise, so the period upto which employee is employed should be taken into account.
