How we can calculate the days between two dates

24 April 2009 Can any one have the idea how to calculate the difference between two days in excel.
Eg. suppose i want to know the difference in days between 1.4.2008 to 31.12.2008. Then how can i calculate in excel.

Plz do reply me.

24 April 2009 Enter both dates, viz., 12/31/2008 and 4/1/2008 in date format. Subtract date 4/1/2008 from 12/31/2008. Formt the cell in which you require answer in number format (zero decimal points).
