How vat is calculated in case of under construction flat

22 August 2011 Hi,

I have bought the flat in Bangalore and paid 90% of amount to builder. I am about to register the property. I would just like to how much is VAT to be paid and how it is calculated?

22 August 2011 Builder Will Charges VAT or Service Tax as if un go for composite scheme.

and charged on prop. amt of comopletion.@4%
