To prepare CMA Data, one must have at least basic knowledge of accounts and analytical skills and most important, must be able to think from the point of view of the bank. First you should put the audited (or provisional, as the case may be), in the format. Then you have to do the projections for the current year (say, the year ending 31.03.2009), as per the so-far performance of the business organization. Then, if your bankers require, you have to do projections for the next year (e.g. 31.03.2010), taking into account the performance of the past years.
