16 May 2010 In Practice, you have be patient at least for the first 3 years.

1. You can compare your practice with your other practicing peers.
2. Ideal would be to do job under a practicing chartered accountant and simultaneouly develop your pratice also. By this you would be getting contacts, money and many other things.

All the Best !!

16 May 2010 Hi Vikram

Thanks for the reply
I am doing that only. Now i am working under a Chartered Accountant in Bhubaneswar (home town). But pay out is very low to around 2 lakh per annum. And i am getting job offer of Rs 6 per annum ,but all these job are placed in Metro, not in Bhubaneswar. I want to do practice only. How to stick in that.

Regards
Gopal

17 May 2010 Dear Gopal,
you are CA of which year? It would help me to answer your question.

Also try to arrange few assignments in your personal capacity.

18 May 2010 Best would be to work under some Chartered Accounting Concern in Metros for 1-2 years, you will get very good exposure as well as reasonable amount. Then you can start of your own or come in Bhuvaneshwar with some other practising person. Also don't loss faith just keep patience for first 3 years...

18 May 2010 Hey Vikram, I am doing exactly what are you telling me. I passed CA in Nov -08 . before passing CA i worked in Chennai PwC for 1 year. As soon as i got result of CA in jan 09 . I left PwC . Then i associate with a firm in Bhubaneswar and continuing now. Only problem i am facing here is losing patience. Difficult to handle all these SME clients.
