How to get refund

20 May 2012 my father has filed his return for the assessment year-2011-12 manually (ITR-1)and is having refund of RS 7500/-.
but has not got any refund since that time.you are requested to tell is there any other procedure that we can claim refund if tax departent fails to provide refund money in time.Thnks in advance.
