How to freeze tally data? Pls help

07 February 2010 Anybody can pls help me out to freeze tally data so that my client cannot edit data once i start the audit.

07 February 2010 You can go to security options, and give passwords there which does not allow any alteration or modifications. And you can do one more thing. take back of data first, and then start your audit on it. So that any chance of alteration can be washed out. This is what is followed practically.
