I want to noe, hw cn i download the 26AS of my Father,who is already registered wd tax authorities.
Id nd pswd is known to advocate who files dad's return,as i dnt noe d id nd pswd cn i still download it?
kindly do the needfull.

Your user id is PAN number, with out login into www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in you couldn't download form 26AS to login you required Password.
So approach your lawyer who is filing your father's return of income and ask for password.
If he refuses to provide you then you can recover the password in the following ways
By answering to a secret question or by uploading of digital signature certificate or by using the A.Y 2012-13 or 2013-14 assessment years Efiled acknowledgement number and bank account in that return
if you fail to recover on the above ways the follow the following
Note : If you're not able to reset the password with any of the three options above, please send an email to - validate@incometaxindia.gov.in with the following details
PAN PAN holder's Name Date of Birth / Date of Incorporation Father's Name Registered PAN address
On successful validation, the password will be sent to your Registered Email.
Even if you followed this option the new password shall be send to the registered email ID only so generally the registered email id shall be the lawyer, so think you couldn't recover in this way, so as per my view you have only two options to recover your password
one is through using e-filing acknowledgement number and bank account number and another way is asking of the lawyer.

Password can be reset with previous year efiled return acknowledgement and bank account number . . you can reset like this and can download 26AS from My Account tab
