How to count tax liability for 15h

12 April 2016 I am a senior citizen. I have to submit form 15H in my bank. My tax liability is NIL after taking into consideration Tax Rebate u/s 87A. So, can I file form 15H or not..??

12 April 2016 In such a case your income is above the taxable limit. You should not file 15H.

12 April 2016 But wording in case of Form No. 15H is "Final Tax liability should be NIL." Does rebate not count while computing final tax liability.?
