Hi Expert
My company got a legal service. The company received a first bill of Rs 29500/-. we don't know that in future we take legal service from the same person. But we have taken again the legal services from the same person.The first bill we received it is below the limit of 30000/-So we didn't deduct the TDS . The company received a new bill from the same person of Rs 20000/- so the total services the company got from the person is Rs 49500/-.
My Query is the company deduct TDS on amount of Rs 49500 or on 20000/-

You need to deduct TDS on total payment made to him in that year
I.e, 10% as per 194J ON 49500 ,
So you need to deduct 4950 from Rs.20000
