In house property head, Section 25 b allows standard deduction of 30% from arrears of rent whereas in sec 25aa no such deduction is allowed for unrealized rent. is there any logic behind this procedure because in both case assess didn't received rent so it is included gross annual value.

we have not power of making law, we can just interpret the law. The power is vest with Parliment or Courts. The law is logical or not it's not our area of focus, whether we know its application, its utility, its planning is our area of focus.
