Can tenant claim municipal tax paid by him as a expenditure??

If the property against which municipal tax is paid is used by assessee for the purpose of business, he surely can claim municipal taxes paid by him as expenditure.

If The tenant has income from PGBP, the answer by Sumeet is perfect, however a non PGBP assessee can add it to the rent paid for claiming the HRA benefit.
