30 July 2014 is it possible to claim tax benefits of interest and principle if I take a personal loan for housebuilding purpose

31 July 2014 I do not think so. Interest no because the lending bank will not give you any certificate required u/s 24 and principal not possible as this is not covered u/s 80C
