26 March 2011 Can a tax payer get both home loan & Rent benefit if he is residing in a rented flat although he has a falt [vacant] in the same town but under different municipal areas in his tax calculation

28 March 2011 Yes. But the house property income on presumption basis from vacant owned house has to be included in the Income of the person.
